2024 Themes and Activities

Make your camping experience even more fun, by participating in our weekend events.  Each weekend we will have games or crafts based around a theme. A detailed schedule of each weekend is available at the camp store.

  Golfing

Whether you’re a beginner playing for fun, or a skilled golfer with a true passion for the game, there are many golfing options to choose from around the Oak Park Kampground area.

 Theaters

Spend some time at one of the theaters in our area, whether you are looking for the big screen or a local play.

 Spirit Sampling

Our area is growing in popularity when it comes to craft spirits, visit one or all and have a taste for yourself.

  • Lake Latoka – 6.0 miles, Alexandria, MN                     (lifeguard staff is present at this location).
  •  Lake Le Homme Dieu – 10.2 miles Alexandria, MN     (lifeguard staff is present at this location).
  • Alexandria City Park – 8.6 miles Alexandria, MN                   (no lifeguards present),
  • Chippewa Park – 10.8 miles Brandon, MN                (no lifeguards present),  

 Fishing

The Alexandria Lakes Area has hundreds of lakes to choose from. For those with a boat you have free reign to explore any lake in the area here are just a few ideas..
